Carly Pearce has announced that her fourth studio album, Hummingbird, will be released on June 14, and also shared the title track from the forthcoming project.
Hummingbird is produced by Pearce, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, and includes the Grammy-nominated single “We Don’t Fight Anymore” featuring Chris Stapleton. Pearce says of the album, “I have lived a lot of life in the last few years. Entering a new decade has brought a lot of maturity, growth, heartache, and healing. I am still a work in progress, but these songs represent my honesty, playfulness, and openness to keep growing.”
Of the album’s title track, Pearce says, “When I wrote this song, I knew I wanted this to be the title of the album. This song plays on my bluegrass roots but also lyrically tells the story of the journey I am on of finding love. This is the most unapologetically ‘Carly’ song I’ve ever written.”
Beginning March 14, Pearce will be joining Tim McGraw as direct support on all dates of his 2024 arena “Standing Room Only Tour.” She has also announced that she will head overseas next year on her new headlining “Hummingbird 2025 U.K./EU Tour,” which will kick off Feb. 9 in Stockholm, Sweden. The 14-city tour will include stops in Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Amsterdam, London, Manchester and more before wrapping on Feb. 28 in Dublin. General ticket sales begin Wednesday (March 13).
